On 4-12 of August 2014 under OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAthe Erasmus+ programme took place multilateral youth exchange “Sharing is caring” with focus on youth unemployment. Through non-formal learning methods the participants developed their communication and self-presentation skills, presented their strong features, knowledge and competences which could be useful in job market. Moreover, the participants were able to practice job interview in a role play situation and put themselves out of their comfort zone. Teamwork, personal discover and inspirational success stories were just some of the activities held during those 9 days.

The highlight of the exchange was presentation of Garage24 (the original idea comes from Garage48) workshop outcome, which resulted with several innovative and realistically realizable projects and business plans. Surely the exchange included traditional cultural evenings and socialising during free time, additionally there was a movie night and free time to discover local culture.
The activities of the youth exchange were conducted with the aim to help the participants to find out their strengthnesses, to use and to present them to others; create an encouraging environment in order to find new ideas for employment; to learn each others cultures, traditions, share experience and knowledge and then bring it back to local community. The emphasis of this youth exchange was to give opportunity for young people to get practical experiences which could be useful when searching a job, e.g. working in team and working individually; finding out your personal strengthnesses, but also finding good qualities amongst team members; having a role-play for job interview; being innovative and developing ideas for future projects or entrepreunership.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThis youth exchange was targeted to young people and youth leaders from Macedonia, Portugal and Estonia and involved in total 24 participants with 8 people from each country. The youth exchange took place in Struga, Macedonia.
Project activities established beneficial basis for developing cooperative relationships and networks, finding associates for future activities and supporting each other’s ideas, which for this moment has resulted with development of several ideas emerged from Garage24, including one follow-up project for next Erasmus+ application deadline. This new team of young enthusiasts has already made concrete steps towards the preparations for next project! It is pleasure to witness that success fosters success!
