Open call for 8 young people aged 18 to 30 from Macedonia for the Youth Exchange ‘Gender In-Equality’ in Westmeath, Ireland. The project starts 27th of October 2015 to 3rd of November 2015.
This youth exchange will focus on gender in-equalities. The main objective for this project is to promote gender equality. We strive to educate participants about gender roles and responsibilities, healthy relationships, diversity and culture.
We aim to open the minds of all young people involved and hope that they learn to use non formal practice as a tool for solidarity, respect and friendship.
We aim to unite young people from contrast cultural backgrounds through non formal activities and discussions to aid their personal and social development.
We plan to host this exchange at Lilliput Adventure Centre, Co. Westmeath. This adventure centre will accommodate and provide meals for all involved. Outdoor and adventure activities will be facilitated by the trainers at the centre in addition to workshops and activities delivered by the project co coordinators. We hope to include a city visit to Dublin as part of our exchange to add to participant’s cultural learning.
